The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and enforcing the financial planning process. This includes budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce the financial planning process, ensuring timely completion of tasks and accurate delivery of results.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create departmental budgets and ensure alignment with overall organizational goals.
  • Evaluate financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Oversee internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.

Strategic Financial Management:

  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to support business objectives.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • CA qualification is mandatory.
  • CS, CPA, CFA, CMA are a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
