Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Planning and Analysis: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to identify and report defects in our web and mobile applications.
  • Test Execution: Conduct thorough testing of functional, regression, UI, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure coverage across multiple platforms.
    • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
      • Test Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, checklists, and test reports, to facilitate traceability and transparency.
        • Agile Participation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with development cycles and ensure seamless delivery.
        • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to clarify requirements, replicate issues, and deliver high-quality results.
          • Risk & Impact Analysis: Assess the implications of new features and changes on existing functionality to prioritize testing effectively.
          Required Skills and Qualifications
          • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
            • 2–3 years of focused manual testing experience across web and/or mobile applications.
              • Proficiency in formalizing test documentation and defect tracking.
                • Experience using defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
                  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, and familiarity with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) workflows.
                    • Exceptional analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills.
                      • Excellent verbal and written communication to articulate issues clearly and collaborate effectively.
          Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
          • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
          • Exposure to SQL or basic database validation techniques.
          • Familiarity with mobile testing (iOS/Android) and device debugging tools.
          • ISTQB or other relevant QA certification.
          • Knowledge of performance or security testing tools would add value.
