Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical professional to ensure the quality of software products.

This role requires a solid understanding of testing methodologies, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.

Manual and Automated Testing

Perform manual and automated testing to guarantee software quality.

Database Management

Conduct comprehensive database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.

Bug Tracking and Analysis

Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using tools like Jira or similar.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios.

Functional and Regression Testing

Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

Ensure compliance with organizational software development and testing standards.

Test Result Analysis and Reporting

Analyze test results and provide clear, detailed reports on software performance and issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

1-3 years in software testing (Freshers with strong knowledge are welcome to apply).

Testing Life Cycles

Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

Hands-on Experience

Hands-on experience in manual testing, automation testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium, database testing using SQL, and proficiency with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Trello.

Agile Methodologies

Good knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication Skills

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
