Job Opportunity

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing specifications and standard test procedures for intermediates, KSM, in-process checks, raw materials, and APIs. They will also maintain a working environment compliant with GLP/GDP regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Specification Development: Develop and maintain specifications for in-process, intermediate, and API products as per regulatory requirements.
  • Test Procedure Creation: Create and update standard test procedures for intermediates, KSM, in-process checks, raw materials, and APIs.
  • Certificate of Analysis (COA) Preparation: Generate certificates of analysis for reference standards, working standards, impurities, and batch materials, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement process for chemicals, solvents, reagents, columns, and other necessary materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with pharmacopeial standards.
  • Record Keeping: Keep up-to-date records of all activities, including specification development, test procedure updates, COA generation, and procurement management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry, biology, or pharmacy).
  • Proven experience in research and development, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, and spectrophotometry.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
