System Administrator Role

The role of a system administrator involves overseeing and managing the technical infrastructure of an organization. This includes configuring, monitoring, and maintaining software and hardware systems to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.

This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise-level systems, including Access Control and CCTV systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • To configure and maintain Access Control and CCTV systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues pertaining to Access Control and CCTV systems
  • Provide remote support to internal clients on system configuration
  • Identify and analyze system failures and provide support to on-site techs for break-fix
  • Track system issues through to resolution within agreed time limits
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals at the dedicated file depository/knowledgebase

Requirements:

  • Experience with Access Control and CCTV systems, including installation and maintenance
  • Knowledge of CCURE 9000 and CCURE GO software and all related hardware
  • Experience with enterprise CCTV systems like Intellicene (Cognyte/Verint) Symphia VMS, Genetec video solutions
  • Experience with Windows Server Operating systems, such as Windows Server 2016, 2019
  • SQL and PowerShell programming skills are a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Technical trouble shooting and reverse engineering skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter and ability to multitask

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent qualification

Work Environment:

The staff will be working in shifts, including night shift, with 9 hours of work per day and 5 days a week.
