Job Title: Solution Architect

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Solution Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end solutions for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Manufacturing Operation Management (MOM) in discrete industries.

Job Description:

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting sales cycles by demonstrating a deep understanding of industry/customer needs and the value proposition of MES/MOM.
  • Defining and describing technical, functional, and commercial solution contexts, transforming customer RFP/RFI requirements into specific solution architectures and designs.
  • Presenting and defending proposals, including technical and functional solutions, to various levels of customer stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with geography portfolio and segment teams to support the selling of smart factory/MES/MOM offerings to target accounts.
  • Leading short-term strategic consulting projects in MOM and MES areas.
  • Analyzing strengths and weaknesses against competitors in target industries.
  • Working with product vendors to define solutions and mature practices.
  • Supporting and defending industry analyst audits and requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience in the field of Manufacturing Execution Systems/Manufacturing Operation Management in discrete industries (Auto/Aero/complex or hybrid manufacturing).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in presales and solutioning for Manufacturing Execution Systems, Manufacturing Operation Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading presales activities for MES/MOM practice.
  • End-to-end MES/MOM implementation experience, including machine connectivity, ERP, and other system connectivity for large multi-sites, multi-geography, and multi-business process/modules.
  • Experience in implementing any one or two MES/MOM products (e.g., DS Apriso, SAP ME/DMC, Siemens OpsCenter - Discrete).
  • Familiarity with international standards such as MESA, ISA 95.
