Empowerment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to play a key role in supporting our skill development programs across Odisha.

As a Program Coordinator – Skill Development, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of skill training programs across multiple centers.

• Coordinate and manage the execution of skill training programs at various centers.
• Ensure compliance with project guidelines and regulations under DDUGKY, OSDA, and other schemes.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including government departments, local authorities, and training partners, to facilitate effective program implementation.
• Support mobilization, training operations, assessments, certifications, and placements for trainees.
• Monitor center performance through regular visits and reporting, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Assist in documentation, audits, and submission of reports to relevant authorities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Facilitate training and capacity building of field staff and trainers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the skill development sector, preferably in managerial or supervisory roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related digital tools, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• In-depth understanding of Odisha's regional and administrative landscape, including its culture and customs.
• Willingness to travel extensively across different districts of the state, as required.

Desirable Attributes:

• Prior experience with schemes such as DDUGKY, PMKVY, OSDA, ORMAS, etc.
• Fluency in Odia, with working knowledge of English and Hindi, enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Self-driven with the ability to manage field teams and deliver results within deadlines, demonstrating strong leadership and time management skills.
