Responsibilities
- Design, install, implement, operate, maintain, and support all IT-based systems, including core networks, Windows OS management, and telecommunications.
- Collaborate with network leaders to establish network specifications, analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements.
- Develop a working knowledge of network features and protocols.
- Familiarize yourself with carrier services, including WAN circuits, MPLS, VPNs, VRFs, DWDM, Frame Relay, point-to-point, OCx, DS3, and E/T1s.
- Have hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls.
- Support all types of laptop and desktop-related issues.
- Monitor and analyze network performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate problems to senior engineers.
- Perform firmware upgrades for network devices.
- Develop and implement network access controls, monitoring, and evaluation, while maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements
- A minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing networking infrastructure and desktop support issues and operations.
- Ability to maintain SOPs for networking and other technologies.
- Proficient in system troubleshooting, interacting with other infrastructure and remote teams.
- Willing to provide on-call support during off-business hours.
- Ability to handle HR and admin/facility operations, including joining and exit formalities, documentation, and vendor coordination.
- Self-starter with a willingness to learn and demonstrate independent initiative in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, maintain personal networks, and participate in professional organizations.
- Protect company confidentiality and maintain excellent customer interaction skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Achieve organizational goals by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
