Transaction Advisory Manager Role

The role involves serving as a strategic financial partner to start-ups, overseeing budgeting, MIS reporting, cash flow, and investor communications.

You will be responsible for building financial discipline and governance frameworks tailored for scaling businesses.

  • Financial Retainerships: Serve as a trusted advisor to founders and investors in matters related to financial health checks, revenue/margin analysis, working capital assessments, and historical reviews.
  • Valuations: Support valuations for fundraises, secondary transfers, and M&A transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
  • Due Diligence: Lead buy-side/sell-side due diligence projects, including financial health checks, revenue/margin analysis, working capital assessments, and historical reviews.
  • Tax Advisory: Provide tax structuring advice for business models and transactions, including cross-border setups, holding structures, ESOPs, and exits.
  • Client Management & Team Leadership: Manage multiple client engagements with professionalism and responsiveness. Mentor junior colleagues and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements:
  • CA with 4–6 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory at a mid-tier boutique advisory or in a start-up finance team with exposure to FP&A and fundraise projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, financial modeling, and valuation principles.
  • Proven track record in client servicing and team management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
