Senior Solar PV Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solar PV Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and delivering large-scale solar PV projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver complex solar PV projects with a minimum capacity of 100MW.
  • Develop single line diagrams, array layouts, equipment layouts, and technical specifications as per tender documents and plant design.
  • Prepare design calculations for AC/DC cable sizing, cable schedules, earthing, ETAP, Dialux, auxiliary sizing, UPS, battery charger sizing, illumination wiring, and conduit layout.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements.
  • Utilize PVsyst simulation software and energy simulation to optimize project performance.
  • Draft detailed project reports, including DC and AC cable schedules, loss criteria, and preliminary BOQs.
  • Analyze technical specifications and engineering practices to ensure compliance with IS, IEC codes, and industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solar PV project engineering.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale solar PV projects.
  • Excellent understanding of solar PV technology, including string combiner boxes, inverters, transformer sizing, and switchgear panels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify solutions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and other relevant software tools.
