Database Administrator Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our database systems.

  • Implement high availability technologies such as failover clustering, SQL server AlwaysOn Groups, SQL server mirroring, SAN replication.
  • Ensure all database servers meet business Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) through regular backups.
  • Troubleshoot SQL Server service outages, including after-hours and weekends, to minimize downtime.
  • Configure SQL Server monitoring utilities to reduce false alarms and improve system stability.
  • Deploy database change scripts provided by third-party vendors to enhance database performance.
  • Monitor database performance and stability, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and document technical processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot complex issues and implement solutions.

Key Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008-2022.
  • Production Support Activities (Installation, Upgradation, and Troubleshooting).
  • Performance Tuning & troubleshooting.
  • SQL Server migration experience.
  • T-SQL Scripts for Administration and Monitoring tasks.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Clustering services (MSCS) and operating systems.
  • High Availability (Log shipping, Replication, and Mirroring) Always ON.
  • User creation & maintenance, database log space monitoring, and maintenance.
