Data Engineer Position

Role Overview:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering large-scale projects on the Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, including batch and streaming data processing.
  • Design and implement complex data transformations using various tools and technologies.
  • Orchestrate ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Migrate data between different systems, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Design and develop data warehouses and lakes to store and analyze large datasets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5-10 years of technology experience.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including data engineering and analytics on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Bigquery, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, PubSub, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and GCP Data Transfer.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Experience working with NoSQL/Columnar/MPP databases and ETL tools like Informatica/DataStage/Talend/Pentaho.
