">Enterprise Data Strategist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Strategist to join our team in India.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based data architecture strategies, architecting data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses, and real-time streaming platforms. They will also define and enforce data modeling standards across the organization, collaborate with data engineers, analysts, scientists, and DevOps teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based data architecture strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP, or multi-cloud).
  • Architect data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses, and real-time streaming platforms.
  • Define and enforce data modeling standards (dimensional, NoSQL, normalized) across the organization.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, scientists, and DevOps teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of data quality, security, lineage, and governance.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud-native services and tools based on evolving needs.
  • Create architecture documentation, data flow diagrams, and reference implementations.
  • Drive data modernization efforts and lead legacy-to-cloud migration initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends in cloud data platforms, AI/ML workloads, and data compliance regulations.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools, and pipeline orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with modern data stacks (Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, Kafka).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices (IAM, encryption, data masking, tokenization).
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, cataloging, and metadata management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud certifications.
  • Experience with AI/ML data pipelines or MLOps integration.
  • Familiarity with Data Mesh, Data Fabric, or event-driven architectures.
