Senior Network Solutions Architect

About the Role:
In this challenging position, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in designing and implementing next-generation network solutions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions across our global networks.

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will work closely with a matrix team of expert network architects and engineers to drive adoption of NRE practices and operating models across all network product towers.

You will be accountable for establishing technical level relationships and partnering with other business disciplines, teams, and vendors to define and implement the Network NRE DDI roadmap, building and enforcing the standards defined in it.

Promotes the documenting of project progress accurately.

Provides input and assistance to other teams regarding projects.

Provides technical expertise and support to people inside and outside of the department.

Uses computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter data and/or process information.

Determines priorities, schedules, plans and necessary resources to ensure completion of any projects on schedule.

• Designing and implementing DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions
• Developing and maintaining technical level relationships with other teams and vendors
• Defining and implementing the Network NRE DDI roadmap

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Experience in developing network solutions utilizing DDI expertise in mission critical networks
• Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting of DDI appliance technologies from industry leading vendors
• Experience in implementing DNS security policies and DNS resolution policies
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting DNS zones, performing zone transfers
• Experience in managing and configuring DHCP scopes and options across multiple environments
• Experience in auditing, designing and implementing efficient IP address management techniques including subnetting and supernetting
• Experience in integrating DDI solutions with other network management and monitoring tools
• Experience in designing and develop scripts for automating DNS, DHCP, and IPAM tasks
• Hands-on experience in resolving complex networking issues related to DDI protocols
• Experience in designing and implementing NTP solutions for data centers and Cloud service providers
• Field experience and knowledge of foundational data networking and IP technologies including DNS, DHCP, NTP, ARP, TCP/IP, UDP, NAT and others

Qualifications:
A graduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline and/or equivalent is required. Experience with managing DDI tools in a hospitality industry a plus. Experience in configuring SaaS-based DDI solutions from AWS, Azure and other cloud providers a plus. Experience with one or more Cloud Computing platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine) a plus. Excellent understanding of change management, testing requirements and techniques, to ensure high availability and business readiness of platforms. Proven track record of driving transformation in network technologies, tools, and processes through a data-driven continuous improvement methodology. Demonstrated experience in improving reliability, performance, and agility of complex enterprise networks. Strong understanding of network infrastructure automation, DDI platforms and the emerging technologies in this area.
