Job Title: Ignition SCADA

This position is a vital part of our team as we drive forward in the field of smart manufacturing.

  • Lead configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations to achieve seamless integration of systems.
  • Design and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions to support business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and implementing industrial control systems for PLC, SCADA, and MES with enterprise IT systems.
  • Developing and maintaining secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
  • Managing industrial databases for high availability and performance.
  • Providing technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 40 and predictive analytics.
  • Troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting existing SCADAMES deployments.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and knowledge sharing across the engineering team.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE downtime analysis, traceability, and SPC.
  • Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with OTIT integration technologies and system interconnectivity via REST APIs.
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication.
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.
  • Familiarity with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes for SCADAMES deployments.
  • Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Certifications in Ignition Gold Certified Specialist, OPC UA, or relevant industrial ITOT certifications.
