Medical Writer Opportunity

Develop high-quality scientific, medical, and educational materials that combine your understanding of medical science and writing skills.

  • Use scientific expertise to develop client-ready materials such as slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, infographics, congress and meetings materials, literature searches and reviews, standard response letters/medical information letters, and HCP engagement content according to client needs with excellent attention to detail.
  • Liaise and build professional relationships with pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, internal and external stakeholders including authors, reviewers, and key opinion leaders across therapeutic areas.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, authors/faculty, clients, and vendors.
  • Attend workshops/seminars/trainings to hone skills and contribute to organizational objectives.
  • Apply scientific and creative knowledge to develop effective medical communications initiatives in the digital space.
  • Evaluate materials for compliance with client requirements, SOPs, style guides, client templates, and internal SOPs.
  • Perform document specialist duties, provide intellectual input across document types, and contribute to making cutting-edge research accessible to specific audiences.
  • Share best practices and client preferences, contributing to skill development within the medical communications team.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing.
  • PhD/MD (Pharmacology), PhD (Life Sciences), or PharmD with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • Clear, concise scientific writing style with a high level of attention to detail and excellent language skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics.
  • Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.
