Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test
We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to fill this challenging role.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working under minimal supervision to test applications, collaborating closely with business users and application build teams.
The SDET will work closely with other IT teams within the project and without to meet internal standards and guidelines for the said application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working experience on web automation tools like Selenium with Java/C#, and Playwright is desired.
- Working experience on native Windows applications automation is also a plus.
- Knowledge of designing automation framework is essential.
- Knowledge of Azure Test Plans and Azure DevOps is required.
- Knowledge in Jmeter, SonarQube is a strong asset.
- Good understanding of technology environment, such as Azure, Azure SQL, MSSQL is necessary.
- Experience in automating native applications (e.g. SAP) testing using TOSCA automation tool is highly valued.
Requirements:
- The candidate should preferably be certified by ISTQB.
- Strong process analysis skills and ability to suggest improvements for efficiency and effectiveness of solutions based on industry best practices are a must.
- Proven conceptual, analytical, and judgmental skills. Should have a positive attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate well with all stakeholders at all levels, technical as well as non-technical stakeholders are required.
- Ability to work directly with clients and management without supervision and to facilitate and navigate discussions with stakeholders to ensure clarity, prioritization, and consensus is desired.
- Leadership skills and ability to work well with diverse team members, often in multiple locations are essential.
- Ability to work with different points of view and lead the team to convergence, while always keeping the project objectives in sight is necessary.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills are required.
- Excellent personal organization and ability to take things to closure without follow-ups are a must.
