As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and assessing cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents affecting medical devices.

Key responsibilities include leading post-market security investigations, coordinating vulnerability response and remediation activities, performing risk assessments and impact analyses in alignment with FDA, ISO/IEC 81001-5-1, and NIST cybersecurity frameworks.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
  • Six years of general Cybersecurity experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Three years of Product Security experience preferably in medical devices
  • Three years of Vulnerability Management experience
  • Three years of Cybersecurity Process Development
  • Experience assessing and improving cybersecurity maturity using the NIST CSF Implementation Tiers and familiarity with the NIST CSF Implementation Tiers (Partial, Risk-Informed, Repeatable, Adaptive)
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with IT, business partners, and working with internal and external audits to assess security controls and compliance

You must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead an organization with multiple urgent demands, develop trust virtually and in person, and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Additional requirements include three years of Medical Device Post-Market Experience and familiarity with global healthcare data privacy and security regulations, including FDA, HIPAA, and GDPR.
