Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in general and regional anesthesia techniques, as well as strong decision-making and crisis management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations, including history, physical exams, and risk stratification.
  • Optimize medical comorbidities and obtain informed consent for anesthesia.
  • Participate in preoperative planning with surgical teams for complex cases.
Intraoperative Management
  • Administer general, regional, spinal, epidural, or monitored anesthesia care (MAC) based on procedure and patient profile.
  • Monitor vital signs and maintain hemodynamic stability during surgery using modern anesthesia machines and monitors.
  • Manage intraoperative emergencies and complications promptly.
Postoperative Care
  • Ensure safe transfer of patients to PACU (post-anesthesia care unit) or ICU.
  • Monitor post-anesthesia recovery, pain control, and manage postoperative nausea, vomiting, and complications.
  • Provide consultative input for post-operative critical care if required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • MD / DNB in Anesthesiology from a recognized institution.
  • Registered with NMC / State Medical Council.
  • Attending Consultant: 1–3 years post-PG experience; Associate Consultant: 3–5+ years post-PG experience in a multi-specialty surgical or critical care setup.
Skills & Competencies
  • Expertise in general and regional anesthesia techniques.
  • Strong decision-making and crisis management skills.
  • Familiarity with anesthesia machines, ventilators, monitors, and EMR.
  • Clear and professional communication with patients, surgeons, and support staff.
  • Ability to work in a team-based, fast-paced surgical environment.
