We are looking for a talented professional to join our Global Markets Powai Structured Trading team. As a member of this team, you will work closely with Trading, Sales and Structuring functions dealing primarily with EMEA and US regions.

  • You will work in close tandem with global trading desks facing dynamic markets and aggressive deadlines.
  • You will gain knowledge of the relevant global financial products and models developed by our business.
  • You will answer client requests, which range from data requests to designing and implementing bespoke models.
  • You will perform trade modelling, strategy selection, and performance analysis.
  • You will build-up on infrastructure to implement new models as well as maintain the existing infrastructure.
  • You will work closely with sales, traders and structurers to enable new trades to be executed, post trade analysis, position keeping.
  • You will convert financial market knowledge into understandable investment opinions and make relative value recommendations.
  • You will remain current on market and commercial developments to help frame investment strategies.
  • You will help senior management to prepare pitches for internal Investment committees, management packs.

This role requires strong analytical and problem solving skills, a strong commercial mentality with an entrepreneurial bias, and good written and oral communication skills. You should also have the ability to collaborate internally across teams within Global Markets and across divisions, and be proactive, self-motivated and result-focused. Previous experience/education in credit derivatives and financial analysis, preferably a professional industry qualification such as CFA or FRM, is preferred.
