Global Compliance Specialist

Job Overview:
Walmart is seeking a skilled Global Compliance Specialist to join its team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of supplier data, audit administration, and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities:
- Manage facility and supplier data, including new factory creation, information updates, and work queues
- Administer audit reports, follow-ups, and ensure compliance with company protocols
- Communicate effectively with suppliers through assessment notifications, audit due reminders, and other support services
Audit Administration:
- Support the administration process for Social Compliance Services (SCS), Food Safety, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCCA) audits for facilities
- Onboard suppliers for responsible sourcing requirements, sharing relevant documents and training links as needed
- Ensure facilities comply with Walmart's protocols on onboarding and activation/deactivation for various requirements
- Assign audit requests in the Factory Audit System and track due dates for active facilities based on expiry dates
Stakeholder Management & Supplier Communication:
- Manage supplier communication through assessments, due notifications, and related support services
- Provide single-point contact for facility compliance administration relating to responsible sourcing
- Maintain and update supplier contact databases
- Respond to internal stakeholders' queries and coordinate changes made to facility databases
- Notify stakeholders of final assessments, critical alerts, and factory status updates
- Offer system support and resolve issues faced by suppliers, including access and process-related issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in social/trade/food compliance or supply chain management
- Strong communication skills, including written and verbal proficiency in English
- Intermediate-level Excel skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple demands, exhibit high integrity, and provide exceptional customer service
- Planning, time management, and organizational skills are essential
Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,500,000 per annum, depending on experience.
