Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tracking tools.
  • Develop thorough testing documents such as Software Development Document (SDD), System Requirements Specification (SRS).
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, performance, and usability testing.
  • Set up and maintain automation frameworks for continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Create and execute appropriate test strategies and processes that align with business objectives and project timelines.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies for quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of 3-5 years in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Exposure to cloud environments and containerized applications.

Qualifications and Certification:

  • B.E / B.tech / MCA degree.
  • Certification in QA testing is an advantage.
