Cloud-Based Data Engineering Specialist

We are seeking an expert in cloud-based data engineering to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines on Azure Databricks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data architectures on Azure Databricks
- Develop high-performance data pipelines using Spark and Scala
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions
- Optimize data processing and storage for improved performance and scalability
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues
Requirements:
- 5-12 years of experience in cloud-based data engineering with Azure Databricks
- Strong understanding of data architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with Spark, Scala, and Azure services (e.g., Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos DB)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and communicate complex technical concepts effectively
Bonus Points:
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and business intelligence tools (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Professional certifications in Azure or data engineering
