Automation Test Engineer

About the Role:

This position involves designing and implementing end-to-end automated testing strategies across multiple technologies to ensure efficient and effective testing of software applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Automated Testing Frameworks: Develop test automation frameworks using modern web testing tools, such as Selenium, Cypress, or WebdriverIO, to guarantee thorough and comprehensive testing of frontend and backend components.
  • Create Automated Tests: Build automated tests for data pipelines and ETL processes using tools like Great Expectations, Soda, or DBT test. Integrate CI/CD pipelines for seamless automated test execution.
  • Mentor Team Members: Guide team members in adopting best practices for testing and share knowledge on framework implementation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering with a strong background in software development.
  • Proficient in API testing tools, such as Postman/Newman or Rest Assured.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline testing tools and database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent Python skills for backend API testing and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
