Nurse Practitioner for Hair Restoration

The Hair Transplant Nurse plays a vital role in supporting surgeons during hair restoration procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Key responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting in graft extraction and implantation, maintaining sterile environments, and providing pre- and post-operative care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operation theater, instruments, and materials for hair transplant procedures (FUE).
• Assist the surgeon during graft extraction, dissection, counting, and implantation.
• Evaluate and maintain strict aseptic and sterilization protocols at all times.
• Deliver pre-operative patient preparation and counseling to ensure informed decision-making.
• Monitor patient vitals and comfort levels throughout the procedure.
• Provide comprehensive education on post-transplant care, medication, and recovery to patients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and procedure logs.
• Respond efficiently to emergency situations that may arise during or after the procedure.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with valid Nursing Registration is required.
• Prior experience in dermatology / cosmetic surgery / OT nursing is highly valued.
• Familiarity with hair transplant techniques (FUE) is an asset.
• Excellent hand–eye coordination and attention to detail are essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for effective patient handling.
• Ability to work extended surgical hours with focus and precision is necessary.
