Programme Management Office (PMO) Lead

This exciting role involves overseeing the strategic direction and operational efficiency of Programme Management Offices (PMOs) within an Insurance / Banking environment.

  • Developing and implementing best practices in Programme and Portfolio management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Providing excellent leadership to PMO teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Managing large-scale change programmes, driving project outcomes through effective governance, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
  • Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to develop and implement business transformation strategies, leveraging expertise in Project Management principles and methodologies.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge to drive better decision-making and process improvements within the PMO.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent programme and portfolio management skills, with a strong understanding of Change Delivery Business Transformation Frameworks and best practice techniques.
  • Strong experience in managing large and complex projects/programmes, with a proven track record of delivering on time and on budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of Project Management tools such as Jira, Planview, Clarity, and MS Project.
