We are seeking highly skilled professionals to fill Senior FIX Analyst positions within our global FIX Connectivity team.

The role involves close collaboration with various teams, including Sales and Implementations teams, Development, Product Dev, and Support teams, to understand bespoke business workflows and translate them into software solutions.

On a day-to-day basis, the Senior FIX Analyst will engage in external communication with tech teams of clients/brokers and their technology vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of FIX protocol (version 4.2/4.4) is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in any programming language, such as Java, C++, C, or Python, is required.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux-based operating systems and applications is necessary.
  • Experience working with databases and writing basic SQL queries (Oracle/SQL) is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of the FIX certification process is critical.
  • Prior experience in an electronic trading environment, specifically in FIX onboarding or FIX Support capacity, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols, VPN, Extranet connectivity, and TCP/IP concepts is necessary.
  • Exposure to asset classes such as Equities, Futures, Options, and FX is beneficial.
  • A proven track record of training and mentoring junior team members is expected.
  • Previous experience with Jira for project tracking and Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing is highly desirable.
Requirements
  • An engineering degree from a reputable institution is required.
  • Scripting knowledge in Shell or Python is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Algorithmic Trading is beneficial.
  • Previous experience with Order Management Systems (OMS)/Execution Management Systems (EMS), exchanges, or trading firms is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in developing tooling and processes to drive efficiencies is expected.
