AP Process Excellence Leader

The Accounts Payable (AP) Process Excellence Leader will lead the end-to-end invoice processing function to drive efficiency, regulatory compliance, and process excellence.

  1. Manage PO-based, non-PO-based, DPR, LC, and import invoices for accuracy, timeliness, and internal control adherence.
  2. Oversee invoice workflows, including 3-way/2-way matching, exception handling, and discrepancy resolution with procurement, receiving, treasury, and HR teams.
  3. Drive automation initiatives and system enhancements in collaboration with IT and ERP teams to improve invoice posting accuracy and efficiency.
  4. Mentor and lead the invoice processing team, fostering high performance, knowledge sharing, and best practices while managing escalations and business unit queries.
  5. Monitor and analyze invoice processing performance metrics, SLA adherence, aging, and blocked invoice reports; prepare strategic insights for senior management.
  6. Ensure audit readiness and quality assurance through thorough documentation, supporting internal and external audits, and improving process controls and SOPs.
  7. Collaborate with finance teams on AP sub-ledger reconciliations, month-end accruals, and financial close activities.
Qualification Requirements
  • MBA (finance), CA, or CWA qualification.
  • 8-12 years of progressive experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, or related finance roles, ideally in multinational environments.
  • Proven track record in complex invoice processing operations and team leadership.
  • Experience in process improvements, compliance, and automation within invoice processing.
