Learning Support Teacher

Job Description:

As a Learning Support Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the educational needs of students with special requirements are met. This is an ongoing process that seeks to increase access and engagement in learning for all students by identifying and removing barriers.

Our approach revolves around creating a fully inclusive environment where every student can participate in all activities. We also recognize that some students may need differentiated studies to fit their learning needs, so we adapt our curriculum and teaching methodologies accordingly.

The role of a Learning Support teacher involves supporting a single student with special educational needs and disabilities. This requires excellent communication skills in English, a good understanding of various disabilities under the RPWD Act, 2016, adherence to deadlines, flexibility, and teamwork.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent Communication Skills in English
  • Good Understanding of Various Disabilities under RPWD Act, 2016

  • Basic Computer Literacy
  • Educational Qualifications
  • Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) approved Diploma in Special Education
  • Intellectual Disability/HI/Learning Disability/Autism/VI etc.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in managing children with special needs
  • Graduate degree preferred
