Site Reliability Engineer

As a key member of our technology team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining scalable systems that meet the needs of our global business.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role, with strong coding skills in Python and PowerShell. Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, cloud-based services (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Configuration Management (Ansible) is also required.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience with container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and ECS, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to the highest ethical standards is essential for this role.

  • Design and maintain scalable systems that meet the needs of our global business.
  • Optimize the operations of existing systems and infrastructure through automation and tooling, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Build out foundational technical components of a robust SRE program across multiple complex systems, both new and existing.
  • Collaborate with development and quant teams to ensure changes align with measurable Service Level Objectives (SLOs) across user interactions.
  • Monitor system capacity and performance, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and sources of instability before they affect stakeholders.
  • Review and provide feedback on automation code developed by peers, maintaining high standards of code quality and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, analyzing their impact on infrastructure and service operations.
  • Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders, evaluating and selecting the best technologies and automation strategies for our firm's needs.
