Senior Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking a senior electrical engineer to design, select, and size motors, drives, and motion systems for semiconductor capital equipment.
- This role will involve working with industrial I/O systems, including familiarity with B&R PLCs, and contributing to risk assessments per SEMI S14, EN ISO 13849, and SIL/PL standards.
- Lead the design of AC/DC power distribution systems compliant with NFPA 79, SEMI S22, and relevant UL standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and clarify technical requirements, load/motion integration for new and existing projects.
- Troubleshoot control panels, drives, and I/O systems.
- Prepare and maintain electrical schematics, I/O lists, cable routing diagrams, and BOMs using SolidWorks Electrical.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in electrical design for industrial automation, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment.
- Strong knowledge of drive selection, motor sizing, and motion control principles.
