We are seeking a Java Developer with expertise in migrating build systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Ant, Maven, and Gradle, as well as experience in establishing robust CI/CD pipelines within GitHub.

Responsibilities

  • Build Tool Migration:
  • Conduct an analysis of the current Ant build system to identify dependencies and project structure.
  • Migrate the build system to either Maven or Gradle, ensuring minimal disruption to the development workflow.
  • Maintain the existing project structure for compiled and built files.
  • Optimize the build process for performance and efficiency.
  • C I / CD Pipeline Implementation:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions.
  • Integrate the CI/CD pipeline with the chosen build tool.
  • Implement automated testing, code quality checks, and deployment stages.
  • Configure pipeline triggers and notifications for effective collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong Proficiency in Java Programming Language: The candidate should have expert-level knowledge of Java programming language.
  • Experience in Migrating Build Tools: The candidate should have experience in migrating from Ant to Maven or Gradle.
  • Understanding of CI/CD Principles: The candidate should have a good understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency in Version Control Systems: The candidate should have proficiency in version control systems (Git).
