Senior Engineering Leader

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Executive Engineer to spearhead engineering best practices across the organization, focusing on code quality, automation, reliability, and performance.

This strategic role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge tools, frameworks, and dashboards to enhance software development lifecycle (SDLC) efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive engineering excellence, prioritizing code quality, automation, reliability, and performance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain innovative tools, frameworks, and dashboards to boost SDLC productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for technical improvement.
  • Champion continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices; automate build, test, and deployment pipelines.
  • Promote and facilitate adoption of modern development methodologies such as test-driven development (TDD), pair programming, and code reviews.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance engineering onboarding, knowledge sharing, and documentation standards.
  • Analyse engineering metrics (e.g., deployment frequency, mean time to recovery, code coverage) and provide actionable insights.
  • Serve as a liaison between engineering, DevOps, QA, and product management to align on technical excellence goals.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of engineering practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Mentor and train engineers on best practices for writing maintainable, scalable, and secure code.
Preferred Qualifications:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required. 5-7 years of experience in biopharma equipment operations and hands-on experience with process excellence are necessary.

Industry Knowledge:

Stay up-to-date with emerging industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance engineering effectiveness.
