Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Category Manager to lead and scale our Toys category, driving brand growth and profitability through strategic assortment expansion, lifecycle management, and cross-functional collaboration.

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to leverage their expertise in category strategy, pricing, visibility, and marketing levers to drive business success.

Responsibilities:
  • Brand Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end brand lifecycle for global brands, scaling them in international markets through effective assortment expansion, SKU optimization, and supply chain iteration.
  • Portfolio Development: Build and manage a curated portfolio of brands exclusively in the Toys category, identifying opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Growth Drivers: Drive brand growth through margin management, GMV contribution, and optimized retail selling strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize brand performance.
  • Omnichannel Presence: Contribute to a robust omnichannel presence across e-commerce and offline channels, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Prior 8+ years of work experience in category management, including 4+ years in offline retail and e-commerce, and at least 2+ years in the Toys category preferred.
  • Consumer Understanding: Deep understanding of Toys' specific consumer behavior, product assortment, manufacturing, and supplier network.
  • Retail Expertise: Expertise in marketplace/retail selling: category strategy, pricing, visibility, and marketing levers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven record of cross-functional collaboration across brand, ops, tech, and analytics.
