Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a full-time position requiring a 3x week onsite hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

The role of the Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is to ensure that software applications meet the required quality standards. This involves testing, reviewing, and validating the application's functionality, usability, and performance.

  • Develop and execute manual and automated tests for software applications.
  • Identify, document, and report defects found during testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and project management, to define and implement QA processes and procedures.

This includes designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java, conducting database querying and validation across multiple query languages such as SQL and BigQuery, and assessing and implementing quality control measures to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5+ years of testing experience in both manual and automation environments.
  • Experience with functional, regression, UAT, exploratory, negative, and database validation testing.
  • Proficiency in Big Query, SQL, Java, and Selenium.
  • Experience writing test approaches and acceptance criteria in Gherkin.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience with ServiceNow and GPC.
  • Experience with CI/CD and pipeline deployments.
