Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Occupational Therapist to provide at-home therapy sessions for clients in need. The role is on a freelance basis, with session timings mutually agreed upon based on your availability and the client's needs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently in home environments.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young adults with disabilities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting 1:1 occupational therapy sessions at the client's home, assessing their functional needs, and developing personalized therapy goals.

You will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities to support motor, sensory, and daily living skills, maintain session records, and share progress updates with our team. Collaboration with other professionals involved in the child's care may also be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct 1:1 occupational therapy sessions at the client's home
  • Assess the child's functional needs and develop personalized therapy goals
  • Create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities to support motor, sensory, and daily living skills
  • Maintain session records and share progress updates with our team
  • Collaborate with other professionals involved in the child's care, if needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (AIOTA certification required)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with disabilities (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working independently in home environments
