Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of federal contracts and be able to provide expert support in compliance, reporting, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Review & Compliance: The selected individual will assist in reviewing federal contract documents, task orders, and amendments. They will identify and summarize applicable FAR/DFARS clauses and compliance obligations.
  • Reporting & Documentation: This role requires the preparation of compliance trackers, audit files, and status reports for internal and external stakeholders. Maintaining organized contract repositories and document management systems is also a key aspect of this position.
  • Audit & Monitoring Support: The successful candidate will assist with internal reviews and external audits (e.g., DCAA, DCMA). They will track deliverables, certifications, and contract obligations to ensure timely compliance.
  • Proposal & Pre-Award Support: The selected individual will review solicitations (RFPs/RFQs) for relevant FAR/DFARS clauses. They will prepare compliance matrices and checklists for proposal teams.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Support: The chosen candidate will coordinate with contracts, compliance, legal, and procurement teams.
Qualifications
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Political Science, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in contracts, compliance, or coordinating with legal teams on contract terms, clauses, and risk is necessary.
  • Knowledge/Skills:
  • Familiarity with compliance areas such as EEO, Service Contract Act, export controls, and cybersecurity requirements is essential.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and contract management tools are necessary.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills are required.
