Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications by developing and executing testing strategies. This role requires a strong background in both manual and automation testing, with experience in functional, regression, UAT, exploratory, negative, and database validation.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of testing experience in both manual and automation environments, with expertise in Big Query, SQL, Java, and Selenium. They will also have knowledge of Gherkin for writing test approaches and acceptance criteria, as well as the ability to implement Quality Control and assess its effectiveness.

In addition, the successful candidate will have the ability to communicate testing results to stakeholders and development teams, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute testing plans to ensure software applications meet requirements
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Investigate and resolve defects found during testing
  • Communicate testing results to stakeholders and development teams
Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of testing experience in both manual and automation environments
  • Experience with Big Query, SQL, Java, and Selenium
  • Knowledge of Gherkin for writing test approaches and acceptance criteria
  • Ability to implement Quality Control and assess its effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow and GPC
  • CI/CD and pipeline deployments
  • Groovy for test automation
