Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field, with expertise in financial metrics, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial reporting and support monthly P&L analysis and financial forecasts.
  • Support monthly/quarterly financial closing activities in close coordination with business and accounting teams.
  • Closely monitor and control opex budget for the business, evaluating and questioning opex requirements, and continuously benchmarking cost productivity.
  • Facilitate financial review meetings with business groups and work with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management.
  • Assist in measuring and reporting progress on key goals for the business team in a timely manner.
  • Measure and monitor metrics for new business initiatives.
  • Provide inputs for monthly and quarterly business reviews in a timely manner, facilitating the business reviews with data analysis and following through with business leaders on actionable items for improving business metrics over time.
  • Perform ad-hoc business analyses and financial modeling, presenting recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
  • 4+ years of accounts receivable or account payable experience.
  • 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
  • 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
  • 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role experience.
  • Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience.
  • MBA or CPA certification.
  • Knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization tools.
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
