Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Director to lead our manufacturing engineering team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry quality standards, and implementing lean manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Manufacturing Engineering Team: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve manufacturing efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Assembly Line Design: Oversee the design and optimization of assembly lines to meet business targets.
  • New Product Development: Drive NPD from concept to production, ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lean Manufacturing Practices: Implement lean principles and continuous improvement practices to foster a culture of operational excellence.
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production planning strategies to meet business targets.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
  • Manufacturing Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve manufacturing issues quickly and effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Data Analytics: Monitor KPIs and use data analytics to drive strategic decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Track Record: A minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing practices and Industry automation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex manufacturing issues.
