Job Summary

The Valuation & Capital Markets Analysis Senior Associate / Assistant Manager is a key role in our team, responsible for utilizing previously obtained educational background and established organizational and project management skills to successfully service clients of BDO RISE Private Limited. This role works within a team environment to actively assist in the analysis and resolution of client matters while taking direction and receiving guidance from experienced staff and management members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Constructs valuation models for various purposes, including but not limited to:

• Valuation of business equity / enterprise value
• Valuation of intangible assets
• Valuation of common stock equities, options etc. for ASC 718 / ASC 820

Other key responsibilities include performing company, industry and economic research, benchmark analyses and assisting with analytical tasks and projects, analyzing financial statements, assessing operational profitability and financial conditions, developing and reviewing cash flow forecasts, navigating public company databases and filings, documenting and ensuring quality control of work product for assigned engagements, composing appropriate narrative reports to support valuation analyses, developing exhibits and memos to illustrate complex issues, assisting with project preparation and delivery, archiving work files in accordance with BDO Best Practices, participating in external and internal client meetings, delivering periodic performance feedback and completing performance evaluations for assigned professionals (for Assistant Manager), acting as Career Advisor to subordinate professionals (for Assistant Manager).

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or other relevant field required.
  • M.Com / MBA preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years of similar experience, required.
  • CPA / CFA / ASA or other certification preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, required.
  • Basic technical skills: Word, standard pdf tools.

You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, superior analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex issues, ability to analyze and organize high volumes of data, solid organizational skills especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details, ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment, proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously, ability to encourage team environment on engagements and contribute to the professional development of assigned personnel, ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels.

We are offering an estimated salary of $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
