Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Migration Specialist to lead our cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in migrating on-prem workloads to Public Cloud solutions, and possess expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.

  • Must have led at least one transformation project migrating on-prem workloads to a Public Cloud solution.
  • Expertise in Terraform and Ansible with hands-on experience in migrating applications to the cloud.
  • Experience in managing pipelines using Jenkins.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Equivalent
  • Red Hat Certified Architect or Equivalent, Azure Cloud Architect, AWS Cloud Architect, OCI Cloud Implementation

Required Skills:

  • Expert knowledge in comparing services across Public Cloud.
  • Understanding of cloud adoption models for major cloud services CPU Architectures, Storage, and Network connectivity.
  • Knowledge in Windows internals.
  • Depth knowledge in Public Cloud Technologies.
  • API communications (Rest/Soap) and developing new consumer/publisher for any API.
  • Conceptual understanding of infrastructure and how it works.
  • DNS (Authoritative and Non-Authoritative DNS, Dynamic and Bind DNS, Forwarder).
  • SSL Communication (Handshake of SSL traffic, Cipher Suites, Enc Algorithms).
  • Active Directory (Security OUs, policies).
  • Certificates (SAN, client-authentication, keystores, mutual SSL).
  • Load balancers / Site Selectors / Firewall.
  • Vault Tools (CyberArk / Hashicorp).
  • High Availability.
  • Excellent hands-on experience in configuration management, orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform).
  • Scripting skills in Groovy (writing Jenkins files), Bash, PowerShell, Python.
  • Understanding of principles of cloud connectivity, SDWAN, private connectivity.
  • Strong understanding of Repository and Artifact management Tools (Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, Nexus).
  • Strong understanding of Container Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Strong understanding of ELK and its beats (Audit beat, File Beat).
  • OS Compliance Policies (CIS Benchmark).
  • Agile methodologies and its ceremonies.
  • Strategic Thinking with Research and Development mindset.
  • Adequate understanding of project management methodologies.
