Job Overview

A seasoned legal expert is sought to assume a pivotal role in our organization's Legal Department as a Corporate Counsel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and mitigate compliance risks, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on reviewing and drafting policies, procedure manuals, and SOPs to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Offer authoritative advice on data protection and privacy legislations, encompassing incident management, record retention, and notification requirements.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives by advising on disclosure requirements, interacting with external vendors, and managing incident response and recovery processes.
  • Advise on compliance matters related to immigration laws in the EU, APAC, and MEA, including policy review and documentation, business travel regulations, work visa requirements, and reporting obligations.
Qualifications and Skills
  • LLB/LLM degree along with significant experience as a compliance counsel, preferably in multinational corporations.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable regulations, including data privacy, cybersecurity, immigration, and mobility laws.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to coordinate review and audit exercises in collaboration with internal and external parties.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
