Job Title:

A world-class Software Development Manager is sought after to lead high-caliber engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of product features by implementing Agile methodologies and utilizing the Scrum framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and Operations, to ensure timely delivery, platform uptime, and technical debt management.
  • Support and collaborate with Product Management to define product strategy and achieve product vision.
  • Participate in backlog refinement and assist Product Management with user story prioritization.
  • Contribute to sprint planning with the Product Team and Technical Leads to define sprint scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop and improve SDLC processes in coordination with Product and QA Teams.
  • Ensure all user stories are estimated, software designs created, and sprint dependencies met before the sprint begins to ensure smooth execution.
  • Assign tasks to team members and monitor sprint progress to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Implement unit testing and peer code reviews.
  • Provide regular updates on sprint progress.
  • Identify bottlenecks to sprint schedules and address them promptly.
  • Support the Production Support team in addressing production issues and meeting SLAs.
  • Collaborate with Technical Architects to develop and deploy platform architecture aligned with product vision.
  • Deploy and institutionalize AI-assisted coding tools and guidelines for use.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team by hiring, onboarding, coaching, and upskilling team members.
  • Define goals and objectives and conduct performance reviews for the team.
  • Submit weekly reports for executive teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in software product/platform development.
  • Proficiency in at least one of Go, Python, or Java with prior experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing or implementing AI solutions within live projects.
  • Prior experience in using AI tools for coding, code refactoring, unit testing, automated testing, and documentation is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect scalable, secure, customer-focused solutions.
  • Experience with performance optimization and security frameworks.
  • Familiarity with tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Positive, solution-oriented attitude with strong people management skills.
  • Experience in product-based companies with a strong understanding of the product lifecycle and strategy.
  • Proven delivery capabilities in high-volume SaaS platforms.
  • A background in startups or high-growth scaling environments is essential, along with the ability to adapt in dynamic settings.
