Logistics Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Logistics Operations Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate transportation operations for import/export projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Track project key performance indicators closely and implement improvements as needed to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Plan and schedule daily pickups and deliveries, utilizing industry best practices to secure optimal pricing and routing.
  • Communicate effectively with shippers and consignees to organize logistics and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Understand customer requirements and ensure consistent service levels by coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Regularly communicate shipment status information, reporting delays and additional costs to customers in a clear and transparent manner.
  • Review active job details and related quotes to identify opportunities for extra revenue and cost savings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics operations or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and handle long hours if required.
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player who can contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • University graduate with a degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proficient computer skills, with experience using software applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Talent for recognizing opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes that drive business growth.
  • Experience in handling international shipments and working with diverse cultural backgrounds.

This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can think critically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
