Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers and QA to deliver high-quality features.
  • Write clean, maintainable and testable code following best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, security and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments.
  • Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in backend development with a focus on Node.js.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes or other containerization/orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
