Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Java developer to join our organization in the capacity of backend software engineer.

As a core member of an agile team, you will be responsible for driving user story analysis and elaboration, designing and developing responsive web applications using best engineering practices. You will perform hands-on software development, writing code, unit tests, conducting proof of concepts, code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints.

You will also work closely with product managers, backend and other frontend engineers to implement versatile solutions to tricky web development problems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within supported domains.
  • Managing your own time and working well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Designing and building integration components and interfaces in collaboration with senior engineers, architects, and infrastructure engineers as necessary.

Mandatory skills include Java, Spring Boot, Micro Services, Hibernate.

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years of work experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience working in Java and demonstrating good Java knowledge.
  • Good attitude, communication, willingness to learn, and collaborate.

Preferred skills include recent experience working in JavaScript on Node stack and experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing.
