NetSuite Functional Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned NetSuite Functional Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' business needs are met through the effective design and deployment of NetSuite solutions.

About the Role

The NetSuite Functional Specialist will play a critical role in aligning applications with standard business processes, conducting gap analysis as needed, and gathering business requirements from internal stakeholders. You will architect solutions for complex business requirements, implement designed systems in NetSuite, and provide support to project teams. Your expertise will also be utilized in reviewing solutions for feasibility and functional fitment with NetSuite, aligning customer expectations with system capabilities for smooth project delivery.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for preparing test cases for implemented modules, validating deliverables before business user testing, and facilitating issue resolution with business users and support. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and proficiency in managing diverse stakeholders will drive project initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather business requirements from internal stakeholders and document them comprehensively
  • Architect solutions for complex business requirements
  • Implement designed system in NetSuite and provide support to project teams
  • Review solutions for feasibility and functional fitment with NetSuite
  • Prepare test cases for implemented modules
  • Validate deliverables before business user testing
  • Facilitate issue resolution with business users and support
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in NetSuite, with end-to-end involvement in over 8 implementations. Strong knowledge of one or more NetSuite modules (such as FAM, ARM, P2P, O2C, P2C, R2R) is essential. Additionally, you must have a profound understanding of functional processes and a proven track record in translating customer business requirements into viable solutions, preferably within a SaaS environment.

Able to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, you will also need to be proficient in managing diverse stakeholders and driving project initiatives forward. Experience in Agile methodologies and adherence to SDLC practices are also required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
