Reliability Engineering Role

  • We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team in a reliability engineering position. This role will involve ensuring the stability and scalability of financial systems.
About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for building automation, implementing monitoring, improving incident response, and championing DevOps practices that enable finance systems to operate with consistency and trustworthiness.

This includes ensuring Accounting and Finance platforms meet defined SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for performance, reliability, and uptime. The engineer will also build automation for deployments, monitoring, scaling, and self-healing capabilities to reduce manual effort and operational risk.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure high availability and performance of financial applications.
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging for accounting applications and data pipelines.
  • Lead and participate in on-call rotations, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements to prevent recurrence of production issues.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and compliance controls in financial systems.
  • Partner with software engineers, data engineers, and finance teams to ensure operational needs are met from development through production.
  • Ensure financial applications and data pipelines meet audit, compliance, and security requirements.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced engineer with strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and IaC tools. Strong scripting/programming experience is required for automation and tooling.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering, ideally supporting financial or mission-critical applications.
  • Strong experience with monitoring/observability tools.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, and financial system integrations from an operational support perspective.
  • Strong scripting/programming experience for automation and tooling.
  • Proven ability to manage incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
  • Experience ensuring compliance, security, and audit-readiness in enterprise applications.
