Web Developer - LAMP StackJob Description:

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team. As a LAMP developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and websites using the LAMP stack.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop: Create clean, well-structured, and efficient code in PHP/Perl/Python to ensure optimal performance and maintainability.
  • Database Management: Manage MySQL databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Integration and Configuration: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, configure and maintain Linux-based servers running Apache to ensure secure and efficient hosting of web applications.
  • Security and Testing: Implement security best practices to protect web applications from potential threats and vulnerabilities, conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, configurations, and processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • LAMP Experience: Should have experience in PHP, Apache, and MySQL.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge in developing LAMP, improvements, bug fixes in existing software, and maintenance of existing websites developed in open source format.
  • Programming Languages: Hands-on experience in PHP/Perl, Linux, Apache, MySQL, Smarty, and object-oriented programming.
  • Web Technologies: Familiarity with web technologies such as HTTP, XML, AJAX, JavaScript, SOAP/XML design/development.
